ABOUT EAT THE CAKE BAND

A Musical Awakening. A Sonic Ritual. A Movement Disguised as a Band.

Eat The Cake Band is a goddess-fronted Hip Rock & Soul collective born in the basement of a dream and raised on rhythm, rebellion, and ritual. Based in Baltimore, MD, the band fuses fiery hip-hop lyricism, electric guitar alchemy, and soul-soaked harmonies into a sound that defies genre—and ignites transformation.

Led by Mzz, a visionary emcee with the spirit of a sage and the fire of a frontwoman, the band began as a call for an all-empress lineup. Ladie Clair, a guitarist with roots in rock and rebellion, answered first. Their early sessions—held in the glow of incense and raw ambition—evolved into a musical ceremony of rhythm and power.

The lineup grew into a divine chorus of voices: Nychele, Charm, and Chelsea Monae, whose vocals channel the spirit of church pews, soul stages, and ancestral frequencies. Jared, the band’s heartbeat on drums, brings vintage energy and unshakable groove, while Jahi commands the low end with intention and quiet brilliance.

So what do they sound like?

Imagine a sacred ceremony lit by amplifiers and rebellion—where incense smoke dances through amplifiers & roaring guitars and every lyric feels like a beautiful spell cast on your soul.

Eat The Cake Band is where the raw defiance of Rage Against the Machine, the funk-punk heartbeat of Red Hot Chili Peppers, the anthemic fire of Green Day, the cosmic pulse of OutKast, the electric grace of Jimi Hendrix, the fierce, soul-powered energy of Tina Turner and the divine harmonies of The Supremes & En Vogue—all woven into one unstoppable frequency. collide—all goddess-fronted yet backed by heartbeat and bassline; all unapologetically alive.

This isn’t just a band—it’s a musical rebellion and a sacred offering.

Whether on a porch, a stage, or a street corner,

Eat The Cake Band shows up with sweat, soul, and sonic freedom.
